About Me

Hello! My name is Patrick Valdez but most people call me Pachi. I am the founder of Speak With Pachi.I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, with roots in Peru and Bolivia. Growing up in a multicultural and bilingual environment sparked my appreciation for language and communication.Before becoming an English teacher, I worked in the professional sports industry in sales, marketing, and brand management while also coaching football (soccer) for over ten years. Coaching helped me discover my passion for teaching and mentoring others.I currently hold 4 TEFL Certifications including a 130hr certification and training from The Language House Prague began working with adult learners in both classroom and online settings.My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and focused on real conversation. I help students build confidence in speaking while improving pronunciation and communication skills for everyday life. I’m certified in TEFL and TESOL teaching and native in both speaking & writing English and Spanish.My goal is simple: make learning English feel natural, supportive, and practical for real-world communication and scenarios.

Lessons

Currently, I offer In-Person Lessons & Online Lessons. In-Person Lessons will be taken place in a small and cozy cafe in Prague whereas Online Lessons can be taken from the comfort of your own home. In-Person Lesson location will be confirmed at least 24hrs prior to the lesson (if there is a cafe close to you that you'd prefer, mention that and I will do my best to reserve a table there!).
